L.A. Sparks first-round Draft picks Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson to join in pregame events at Dodger Stadium tonight

LOS ANGELES – Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson, the second and fourth picks in the 2024 WNBA Draft from the Los Angeles Sparks, will participate in the pregame events tonight ahead of the 7:10 p.m. game between the Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Brink will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and Jackson will offer the greeting of “It’s Time for Dodger Baseball.”

Brink was drafted second overall out of Stanford University. The forward had an illustrious career with the Cardinal, averaging 14.0 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game with a 52.7% field goal percentage in four years. Brink won many accolades at Stanford, including 2x Pac-12 Player of the Year (2022, 2024), 3x Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year (2022-24) and NCAA Champion (2021) among others.

Jackson was drafted fourth overall out of the University of Tennessee after beginning her career at Mississippi State. Jackson averaged 17.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game with a 47.9% field goal percentage. She was named First-team All-SEC in both her years at Tennessee.
