Fifth annual Brewers Bowl-A-Thon set for Sunday

MILWAUKEE -- This Sunday, Brewers reliever Jeremy Jeffress and his teammates will bowl to help raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Wisconsin at the fifth annual Brewers Bowl-A-Thon.

Participants who signed up and purchased packages for the Brewers Bowl-A-Thon, which sold out in May, will enjoy the unique opportunity to throw a strike with members of the Crew, all while contributing to a good cause. The event will take place at JB’s on 41 (4040 South 27th Street) beginning at 6 p.m.

This year there were several packages that interested participants could choose from, starting with “The Batter,” which included admission to the event, shoe rental, non-alcoholic beverages and two games of bowling with a Brewers player, coach or alumni. Other great packages included unique prizes and features, all while helping raise money for a worthy cause.

The top-end package that was available this year was the “Grand Slam Sponsor Package,” which included everything in “The Batter” package as well as a bowling lane for up to five guests, T-shirts, a VIP reception, five Field-Level tickets to a 2019 regular-season Brewers home game and opportunities to watch the Brewers take batting practice and to take a picture with Jeremy Jeffress at their lane.

The Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Wisconsin is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by seizure disorders and epilepsy through education, direct services, advocacy and the support of research for the prevention and cure of epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation is the only agency specifically organized to serve the diverse and special needs of the 10,000 children and 20,000 adults with epilepsy in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha and Washington counties.
