Entrepreneur Rico Grant to receive Reds Community Advocate Award
Local entrepreneur Ricardo “Rico” Grant will be presented with a Reds Community Advocate Award on Friday, July 16.
The ceremony will take place before the Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers game (7:10 p.m.) at Great American Ball Park as part of the Reds’ annual African American Community Night.
The award, presented by TriHeath, is given to celebrate and recognize business representatives, community leaders and civil servants in our community who advocate connection and inclusion.
Rico Grant is a serial entrepreneur, founder of Paloozanoire, creator of Gallery At Gumbo, and Executive Director of SoCap Accelerate based out of Northern Kentucky University. Known as a connector throughout the city, Grant serves on the board of Findlay Market, OTR Chamber and Elementz, as well as advises for several startups and foundations around the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region.
The Reds recently partnered with Grant on the “In the Street On Juneteenth Block Party at The Banks.”
