Dustin Garneau named bullpen coach
DENVER – The Colorado Rockies announced today that Dustin Garneau has been named the club’s bullpen coach for the 2025 season. Garneau most recently served as Colorado’s organizational caching coordinator for the 2023-24 seasons.
Garneau, 37, played parts of eight seasons in the Major Leagues with Colorado (2015-17), Oakland (2017, 2019), Chicago-AL (2018), Los Angeles-AL (2019), Houston (2020) and Detroit (2021-22) … in 168 Major League games, slashed .205/.285/.373 with 15 home runs and 54 RBI … recorded a .989 career fielding percentage in 164 games behind the plate … was originally drafted by the Rockies in the 19th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft out of California State University (Fullerton, Calif.).
