Dodgers open NLDS tonight against Giants

LOS ANGELES– The Los Angeles Dodgers will open the best-of-five National League Division Series tonight in San Francisco against the Giants, with the longtime rivals meeting for the first time in Postseason play. Tonight’s game starts at 6:37 p.m. PT, followed by Game 2 tomorrow (6:07 p.m. PT) in San Francisco before the series shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3 Monday (6:37 p.m. PT) and Game 4 (if necessary) Tuesday (6:07 p.m.) Game 5 (if necessary) would be Thursday in San Francisco.

The entire series will be nationally televised on TBS and broadcast locally on AM 570 LA Sports, KTNQ 1020 AM (Spanish) and KMPC AM 1540 (Korean). More information on the NLDS is below:

Arrive Early!: Auto and stadium gates for NLDS home games will open 2.5 hours before game time: 4:07 p.m. on Monday and 3:37 p.m. on Tuesday. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy batting practice and entertainment in the Centerfield Plaza.

Pregame Ceremonies: Former Dodger All-Star Andre Ethier will throw the ceremonial first pitch Monday. Pregame ceremonies for Game 3 will also include Keith Williams Jr. performing the national anthem alongside a joint color guard featuring all six branches of our United States Armed Forces, and followed by a flyover from the Torrance based Tiger Squadron. Ceremonies for Tuesday’s Game 4 (if necessary) will be announced later.

2021 Season: The Dodgers finished the 2021 regular season with the best record ever for a defending World Champion at 106-56 (.654), 1.0 game behind the San Francisco Giants for the top record in the Majors. The 106 wins tied the 2019 club for the most victories in Dodger franchise history. Los Angeles earned its ninth consecutive Postseason berth and advanced to the NLDS by defeating the St. Louis Cardinals, 3-1, in Wednesday’s Wild Card game.
