D-backs Serpientes jersey giveaway, Suns & Mercury Night and U of A Day highlight packed homestand also featuring heritage celebrations

Tuesday, September 10 vs. Rangers @ 6:40 p.m.
Phoenix sports fans are being summoned to Rally the Valley for the D-backs annual Suns + Mercury Night. The Suns’ Monté Morris and Mercury’s Sophie Cunningham will throw the ceremonial first pitch. Players and mascots from both teams will join fans at the ballpark for a fun night celebrating our local sports scene. Friday, September 13 vs. Brewers @ 6:40 p.m.
The team will host their first-ever Taiwanese Heritage Night presented by Delta Air Lines & Kuai Kuai. The special night’s ticket package is sold out, but fans can still enjoy a pregame performance by Taiwanese group, Dragon Beauty Cheerleaders, cultural tables, photo opportunities and additional giveaways in the La Terraza.
Saturday, September 14 vs. Brewers @ 5:10 p.m.
You can’t beat a Saturday night at the ballpark, especially with a unique jersey giveaway for fans to add to their collection! The first 20,000 fans to the game will receive a Serpientes Replica Jersey courtesy of Pepsi. The popular jersey has been transformed to feature the D-backs signature teal accent.
Sunday, September 15 vs. Brewers @ 1:10 p.m.
The D-backs’ efforts celebrating the Hispanic Heritage community continue into mid-September with Roberto Clemente Day and Puerto Rican Heritage Celebration.
The D-backs proudly joins teams across MLB in celebrating Roberto Clemente Day by wearing #21 patches on their jerseys to pay tribute to the Hall of Famer. The D-backs’ Roberto Clemente Award nominee Paul Sewald will be recognized pregame for his extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions on and off the field.
During the D-backs’ Puerto Rican Heritage Day, fans will treated to pregame performances from Orgullo Borricua and Miguel “Mambo” DeLeon, Sofrito Tan Rico & El New Yorican food trucks through the 3rd inning, a pregame recognition of local restaurant, Phoenix Coqui. A special package that includes a ticket and D-backs Puerto Rico flag hat are available at dbacks.com/puertorico.
Sunday is also U of A Day at the ballpark. The team’s U of A hat/ticket package is sold out, but students, alumni and fans are still encouraged to come down and join fellow Wildcats as they cheer on the D-backs.
