Colorado Rockies name SeatGeek as the club's official ticket marketplace
DENVER – The Colorado Rockies and SeatGeek announced today that they have entered a partnership, making SeatGeek the Official Ticket Marketplace of the Rockies starting with the 2024 season. Already the Official Ticket Marketplace of Major League Baseball, SeatGeek is expanding its presence in baseball at the local level.
The partnership includes a variety of high-impact assets in and around Coors Field, including home plate, baseline rotational and LED signage, as well as permanent branding within the park’s main atrium at Gate D. SeatGeek will also collaborate with the Rockies to enhance the experience for season ticket members, most notably through its role as the Presenting Sponsor of fan-favorite member events, including Member Autograph Sessions. Through the collaboration, season ticket members will learn about the latest SeatGeek features that can help them buy and sell Rockies tickets on the platform.
“We are very excited to partner with SeatGeek for the 2024 season and beyond,” said Colorado Rockies Vice President of Corporate Sponsorships Walker Monfort. “Getting to work with an outstanding ticket marketplace that has already established an official partnership at the league level is the ideal situation for any club. I have no doubt this partnership will enhance the experience for our fan base and will limit confusion as to where fans should go to transact on the secondary market. We look forward to expanding on an already established relationship with SeatGeek and to seeing this partnership come to life.”
The announcement comes shortly after the launch of SeatGeek’s Next Fan Up product release. The release includes a suite of innovative features that make it easier for season ticket members and fans to sell their tickets and get the best value for their seats. Next Fan Up is an example of SeatGeek’s tech-forward approach to ticketing and how the company is seeking to establish a new standard for MLB fan engagement and satisfaction.
Fans looking to buy and sell Rockies tickets from the team’s official marketplace can head to SeatGeek’s website or download the SeatGeek app.
