Cleveland Guardians announce 2024 CLE Inspires Week
Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians today announced the third annual CLE Inspires Week, taking place from August 25 – September 1, 2024. The week-long celebration focuses on sharing the Cleveland Guardians community efforts, spotlighting Guardians beneficiaries, and fundraising for Cleveland Guardians Charities (CGC).
CLE Inspires week will be highlighted by the sixth annual Cleveland Guardians Charities Giveathon, which has raised over $1 million since its inception in 2019. The week will also include the Cleveland Guardians Charities 2024 Golf Outing, RBI Celebration Game highlighting the Guardians Junior RBI team that went to the RBI World Series, and an online auction that will run from August 25 to September 1.
All proceeds from CLE Inspires Week benefit CGC and its beneficiaries, which includes:
Cleveland Guardians Nike RBI Program – Fully funded baseball and softball teams filled with Cleveland Metropolitan School District students
CMSD Baseball & Softball – CGC covers costs associated with the 11 schools in the Senate League that have high school baseball & softball programs
PlayBall CLE! – A grant program offered to underserved baseball, softball and adaptive leagues across Northeast Ohio
Guardians support 13 leagues and 3,300 kids
Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio – Our partnership benefits all clubs in Northeast Ohio and over 10,000 youth
The Guardians will donate $100,000 to BGCNEO as our 2024 grant to the clubs to aid in making up for lost federal funding
CLE Inspires Week will feature multiple ways for Guardians fans and partners to participate in the fundraising efforts:
6th Annual Giveathon – August 27
The first 300 donations of $100-or-more during the broadcast on August 27 (starting at 5:30pm) will be eligible for an autographed baseball from one of the following Cleveland Guardians: Tanner Bibee, Emmanuel Clase, Andrés Giménez, Stephen Vogt or Gavin Williams
Fans at Progressive Field that night can purchase autographed CC Sabathia Bobbleheads for $75 and Mystery Balls for $50 behind Section 155
Game will be simulcast on WKYC Channel 3 and Bally Sports Great Lakes

MLB Auction Site – The auction for CLE Inspires Week will run from August 25-September 1 and will feature a signed Jim Thome print, All-Star Package including signed items from all 5 Guardians 2024 All Stars, a Batting Practice experience and more.
