Brewers Community Foundation announces 2021 drive for charity events

MILWAUKEE –- Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) today announced the schedule for its 2021 Drive for Charity events, presented by BCF Leadership Council. The series of donation opportunities support non-profits in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

Supporting sponsor Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation and media sponsor CBS 58 help kick-off the first event of the year, benefitting Hunger Task Force. The event will be hosted as a Drive-Thru at American Family Field, taking place on Tuesday, May 4 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Cooper parking lot, near Helfaer Field.

Hunger Task Force is targeting healthy non-perishable food items with focus on healthy fruits and vegetables (low sugar and low sodium), peanut butter, whole grains and canned chicken and tuna. Those donating or making a $10 contribution will receive a collectible Lorenzo Cain pin. In addition, the first 150 fans who donate at the Drive-Thru will receive a collectible Brewers bobblehead.

Fans can expect BCF employees and volunteers onsite to accept donations in a safe and socially distant manner through car windows or trunks. Online donations, made at brewers.com/BCF, of at least $10 between May 4-6 will also receive the collective Lorenzo Cain pin.

The three remaining Drive for Charity events are slated to take place during games at American Family Field, providing fans with the opportunity to donate designated items that will be distributed to organizations working for the greater good.

Fans who donate designated items or make a monetary donation of at least $10 will receive a commemorative pin. The 2021 Drive for Charity schedule is as follows:
