BlueForge Alliance announces MLB and MiLB partnership to promote Buildsubmarines.com and recruit skilled workers

BlueForge Alliance (BFA) today announced a new multi-year partnership with Major and Minor League Baseball designed to recruit skilled workers across the country. As an Official Partner of MLB and MiLB, BFA will expand their reach and engagement to promote BuildSubmarines.com, a platform in partnership with the Navy for attracting, recruiting, and training the more than 10,000 manufacturing workers per year over the next decade needed to build and maintain the United States Navy’s next generation submarines. The partnership begins with the launch of MLB Opening Day Pick ‘Em game presented by BuildSubmarines.com.

The BuildSubmarines.com platform will be featured across a number of MLB Jewel Events throughout the season, including MLB All-Star Week, the MLB Postseason, the World Series presented by Capital One, and presenting partnership of Opening Day. The partnership will also include BuildSubmarines.com promotion across 40 Minor League ballparks.

“The extensive fan base of Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball extends to every area of the country and allows BlueForge Alliance to share information about high quality job opportunities,” said Uzma Rawn, MLB Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Partnerships. “We look forward to collaborating with BlueForge Alliance throughout our seasons to help reach their vital job recruitment goals.”

BFA is a non-profit integrator working with the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Industrial Base to unite regional partners that support workforce development, recruiting, hiring, training and retaining those needed to build and maintain Navy submarines, and in the process, build out healthy manufacturing ecosystems and pipelines. As part of these efforts, BFA owns and operates BuildSubmarines.com, which plays a critical role in recruiting trade-skilled workers across the country to a range of important jobs.

“Baseball and manufacturing are both deeply engrained in American culture. Working together on this promotion is a natural connection to promote BuildSubmarines.com across MLB events and media platforms to showcase the tens of thousands of impactful careers that are available throughout the U.S.,” said Kiley Wren, chief executive and co-founder, BlueForge Alliance. “This partnership will be an important way for us to raise awareness of these purpose-filled career opportunities and build an even stronger skilled workforce supporting our national defense.”

As part of BFA’s focused messaging efforts to drive awareness of these career opportunities, the non-profit will reach baseball’s millions of diverse fans across the U.S. With industry partners in every state across the country, interested candidates can search open positions, create career profiles to showcase their skills, and explore skillsets like welding, additive manufacturing, machining, pipefitting, and quality assurance to learn more about each of these career paths.
