Astros return home for eight-game homestand starting June 30 with the Yankees

HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros return to Minute Maid Park for an eight-game homestand from June 30 through July 7, hosting the New York Yankees for one game, the Los Angeles Angels for a three-game series and the Kansas City Royals for a four-game set.

Thursday, June 30: Astros vs. New York Yankees: 5:10 p.m. CT
The Astros open up the eight-game homestand with one game against the New York Yankees on Thursday evening, the first time the Bronx Bombers have visited Minute Maid Park in 2022. The game is a reschedule from April 4 and will mark the fifth time in a week the two clubs have faced each other after the Astros split a four-game set in the Bronx from June 23-26.

Sarah Grace, from season 15 of The Voice will sing the National Anthem.

Astros legend and Hall of Famer Craig Biggio will throw out a ceremonial first pitch in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Major League Baseball in Houston.

A portion of the proceeds from Thursday’s 50/50 raffle will go to SER Jobs. The non-profit empowers their members to become champions of their futures with coaching, training, employment and financial empowerment.

Friday, July 1: Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros open up a three-game weekend series with the Angels starting Friday, July 1 at 7:10 p.m. CT. A Flashback Friday, the Astros will continue to celebrate 60 years of baseball in Houston as the decade of the 1990s is celebrated. 10,000 fans receive a 1990s Kyle Tucker Open Star Jersey, presented by AARP.

In celebration of the Flashback Friday theme of the 1990s, former Astros pitcher Shane Reynolds, who pitched for the club from 1992-2002, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhillips are set for postgame, featuring the musical theme of hits from the 1990s. Friday Night Fireworks are subject to weather. In the event a show must be cancelled due to weather, refunds will not be granted.

Pregame Happy Hour presented by Budweiser will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Michelob Ultra Bar. Fans can enjoy $5 Ultra Draft, a live D.J. and amazing views.

A portion of the proceeds from Thursday’s 50/50 raffle will go to the Buffalo Soldiers. The organization is dedicated to exploring and displaying the stories and contributions of African Americans in the military by way of performing and visual arts, educational programming. and exhibitions.

Saturday, July 2: Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels: 3:10 p.m. CT
Game two of the series against the Angels is set for 3:10 p.m. CT on Saturday.

10,000 fans will receive a Lance McCullers ‘90s Uniform Bobblehead, presented by Texas Bay Credit Union.

Madi Conrad will sing the National Anthem.

Sunday, July 3: Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels: 1:10 p.m. CT
The Astros will close out the series with the Angels at 1:10 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 3.

10,000 fans receive a Summer Beach Tote, presented by Don’t Mess with Texas.

U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Ricardo Luna Jr. will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Gunnery SGT Luna recently returned home from Japan, where he and his family were stationed for three years. He is currently on leave visiting family in Uvalde, Texas, before moving to California for his next assignment.

Kid’s Run the Bases, presented by Olshan Foundation Solutions, will occur for all kids in attendance ages 5-12 after the game.

Monday, July 4: Astros vs. Kansas City Royals: 3:10 p.m. CT
Come celebrate Independence Day at the ballpark as the Astros open up a four-game set against the Royals at 3:10 p.m. CT on Monday, July 4.

A 50-yard American Flag will be unfurled in the outfield pregame.

A pregame ceremony with Anheuser-Busch and Folds of Honor will take place. Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that helps provide the families of fallen and disabled service members with educational scholarships.

Tuesday, July 5: Astros vs. Kansas City Royals: 7:10 p.m. CT
Astros continue the four-game series with the Royals on Tuesday, July 5 at 7:10 p.m. CT. The Astros continue the series with the Guardians on Tuesday, which is Dollar Dog Night presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to unlimited hot dogs that are one dollar apiece all game long.

It is also the first-ever Hello Kitty Night at Minute Maid Park. A sold-out add-on giveaway, fans could add a special Hello Kitty Bobblehead onto their ticket for tonight’s game.

Game three of the series against the Royals is set for 7:10 p.m. CT on Wednesday, July 6.
