Astros Foundation and AT&T SportsNet to host fifth annual Astros Foundation Charity Game

HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros Foundation and AT&T SportsNet will be hosting the fifth-annual Astros Foundation Charity Game and live broadcast at Minute Maid Park on Friday, September 10 during the 7:10 p.m. CT game against the Los Angeles Angels.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Astros Foundation’s Childhood Cancer efforts, including B.I.G. Love Cancer Care, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance and the Sunshine Kids Foundation.

During the September 10th game, in-stadium sales will begin when gates open at 5 p.m. CT. Starting at 6 p.m. CT, bags containing autographed baseballs, tickets and more will be available for purchase over the phone and online. There are four different levels of bags that fans can purchase in stadium, online or over the phone to support. The Rookie for $100, VIP for $500, HOF for $750 and Cooperstown for $5,000.

“AT&T SportsNet is excited to support the Astros Foundation again this season by broadcasting the annual Charity Game as a way to raise awareness of the Astros' extensive efforts to fight childhood cancer in our community," said David Peart, General Manager, AT&T SportsNet. "The event helps to raise funds in support of those efforts as well as the worthy beneficiaries for this season’s event.”

In 2019, the popular event raised $500,000 for the Astros Foundation Childhood Cancer efforts, doubling the total of 2018.
