Anthony Mackie, Anuel AA, Von Miller & Josh Richards join 2021 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball roster
Major League Baseball today announced the addition of some prominent stars to its roster scheduled to play in the 2021 All-Star Celebrity Softball Game. New participants include:
· Anthony Mackie – Actor
· Anuel AA – Multi-platinum, reggaeton recording artist
· Von Miller – Denver Broncos outside linebacker
· *Josh Richards *– Digital superstar & entrepreneur
· Jhay Cortez – Puerto Rican singer & songwriter
· Will Barton – Denver Nuggets small forward
· Philipp Grubauer – Colorado Avalanche goaltender
· Chase Carter – Model
· Jorge Masvidal – UFC Fighter
· Brandon McManus – Denver Broncos placekicker
· Lauren Chamberlain – NCAA all-time home run record holder
· Natasha Watley – Olympic Softball Gold Medalist
Anthony Mackie, Anuel AA, Von Miller, Josh Richards, Jhay Cortez, Will Barton, Philipp Grubauer, Chase Carter, Jorge Masvidal, Brandon McManus, Lauren Chamberlain and Natasha Watley join the star-studded roster of names from movies, television, music and sports announced earlier this month including: *Quavo, JoJo Siwa, Steve Aoki, Ross Butler, Noah Beck, Charles Melton, Blake Gray, The Miz, Kane Brown, Karamo, DK Metcalf, J.I.D, Derrick White and former MLB & Softball stars, Larry Walker, Vinny Castilla, CC Sabathia, Jennie Finch and Hunter Pence. *
Gates open at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 11, with the first 15,000 fans to receive a 2021 All-Star Game souvenir bucket hat. Grammy nominated & multi-platinum recording artists, OneRepublic will perform on-field between the conclusion of the Futures Game and the start Celebrity Softball Game.DJ Jen Jones will play on field before and during the 2021 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.
On Monday, July 12, ESPN will exclusively televise the 2021 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game at 10 p.m. ET, following the T-Mobile Home Run Derby.
This year’s All-Star Celebrity Softball Game will also include a charitable component. UCHealth, a nationally recognized health care system based in Colorado, will be donating $10,000 for every home run to Feeding Colorado, an organization dedicated to fighting hunger in Colorado.
