Angels host Houston and Chicago (A.L.) in six-game homestand
The Angels host their 12th homestand of the year from September 13 – September 18. The homestand will open with a three-game series against the Astros, and conclude with a three-game set against the White Sox. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next six days.
DUCKS NIGHT
- On Friday, September 13, the Angels will host Ducks Night, featuring Ducks player appearances, themed pregame activities, ceremonial first pitches, and in-game entertainment in collaboration with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL.
MEXICAN HERITAGE NIGHT
- On Saturday, September 14, the Angels will celebrate Mexican Heritage Night at Angel Stadium. Prior to the game, there will be a Mexican Heritage Village in the Rose Garden. During the game, there will also be special recognition for the Mexican community.
FIESTA ANGELS
- On Saturday, September 14, the Angels will host Fiesta Angels from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Home Plate Gate. This free pregame event will feature family-friendly entertainment including food vendors and live performances from Melrose Band, Grupo Folklorico Chiquina Palafox, and Herencia Mariachi Academy. Angels pitcher Patrick Sandoval will also be in attendance for an on-stage Q&A.
BOB FELLER ACT OF VALOR AWARD CEREMONY
- On Saturday, September 14, Zach Neto will be recognized in a pregame ceremony as the Angels’ Bob Feller Act of Valor Award nominee as the player who best represents the values, integrity, and dedication to serving the country that Bob Feller himself displayed.
MIKE TROUT ROBERTO CLEMENTE AWARD CEREMONY
- On Sunday, September 15, Mike Trout will be recognized in a pregame ceremony as the Angels 2024 Roberto Clemente Award nominee, acknowledging the MLB player who best represents the game through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions both on and off the field.
FIREWORKS
- Fans in attendance of the Saturday night game on September 14 will be treated to a postgame fireworks show driven by your Helpful SoCal Honda Dealers.
GIVEAWAYS
- Upon entrance to the game on Friday, September 13, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive an Angels & Ducks Hat.
IN THE COMMUNITY
- On Saturday, September 14, the Angels and Anaheim Family YMCA will host the Angels Nike RBI League Opening Day and fourth annual Roberto Clemente Clinic at Zion Lutheran Church. Through this clinic, the Angels will celebrate the life and legacy of the event’s namesake, Roberto Clemente, who continues to be an inspiration to many for his actions both on and off the field.
- On Monday, September 16, the Angels will take part in a backpack-stuffing event at Giving Children Hope to address food insecurity in Orange County.
- On Monday, September 16, Jordyn Adams will visit students at Hidden Hills Elementary School as part of the Cox Classroom Connections program.
- On Tuesday, September 17, Caden Dana will visit students at Carl Hankey TK-8 Academy as part of the Cox Classroom Connections program.
