Padres Select 10 Players On Day Three Of The 2024 MLB First-year Player Draft

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres selected 10 players on the third and final day of Major League Baseball’s 2024 First-Year Player Draft and took 22 players overall.

In the 2024 Draft, the Padres selected 13 position players (four outfielders, four shortstops, two third basemen, one first baseman and two catchers), eight pitchers (six right-handed pitchers and two left-handed pitchers), and one two-way player. The club selected 17 college players and five from the high school ranks.
