Padres Announce 2023 Spring Training Cactus League Schedule

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres today announced their Cactus League schedule for 2023 Spring Training presented by Southwest Airlines ®, the club's 30th spring in Peoria, Ariz.

The team will begin its 31-game schedule in Arizona with the annual charity game on Friday, February 24 as the home team against the Seattle Mariners at the Peoria Sports Complex. The Padres will play 18 of their 31 games next spring in Peoria, all but two of them as the home team. San Diego's Cactus League schedule features 17 games against American League opponents and eight meetings versus National League West rivals, including two each with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. Five of the Padres' 16 home games will take place over the weekend (Sat. & Sun.).

San Diego will break camp following its Cactus League finale against the Seattle Mariners in Peoria as the visiting team on Monday, March 27. The Padres will open the 2023 season at home against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, March 30.
