MLB Network launches direct-to-consumer offering beginning Wednesday, July 24
Wednesday, July 24 - With Major League Baseball’s second half underway and the Trade Deadline rapidly approaching, MLB Network announced it will offer its Emmy Award-winning network directly to consumers in the United States beginning Wednesday, July 24. Starting today, fans can stream MLB Network the following ways:
- MLB Network is now available for purchase as a standalone offering for $5.99/per month.
- There is now also a combined “MLB Network + At Bat” option for $6.99/per month. This product offers all of MLB Network’s 24/7 content, plus every feature of the MLB At Bat subscription, including live game audio for all 30 MLB teams, live Minor League Baseball games and access to MLB Big Inning.
- Current and future paid subscribers of MLB.TV’s all teams package and single team package in the United States can stream MLB Network for the remainder of the 2024 season.
- And for the 10th consecutive year, fans who receive MLB Network from a participating pay TV partner can watch via an authenticated stream.

MLB Network is home to wall-to-wall live games, including today’s Los Angeles Angels at Seattle Mariners game at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by tonight’s San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers game 10 p.m. ET. MLB Network Showcase, MLB Network’s game telecast series, will return Monday, July 29 featuring the New York Yankees at Philadelphia Phillies, with Matt Vasgerisan, Tom Verducci and Jon Morosi on the call at 6:30 p.m. ET. MLB Tonight, MLB Network’s seven-time Emmy Award-winner for Outstanding Daily Studio Show, airs every night, featuring look-ins of live games, analysis and breakdowns from Studio 3 and the iconic Studio 42. Complementing MLB Tonight is a wide variety of studio programs, including MLB Central, High Heat, MLB Now, Off Base, Intentional Talk, Quick Pitch, Big Inning and Play Ball. MLB Network Presents, MLB Network’s documentary series, will next profile Hall of Famer Greg Maddux this August. For Major League Baseball’s Trade Deadline coming up on Tuesday, July 30, MLB Network will air 12.5 straight hours of live coverage, beginning at 9 a.m. ET with MLB Central, followed by High Heat, MLB Now and MLB Tonight.
For its All-Star coverage last week, MLB Network’s encore presentation in primetime of the 2024 Red Carpet Show presented by Frutitas was the second-most watched telecast in the event’s history. MLB Tonight registered a +52% increase in viewership over 2023 for its pre- and postgame coverage across four programs for the Monday of the Home Run Derby and the Tuesday of the All-Star Game. Earlier this season, MLB Network’s out-of-market telecast of the Orioles at Red Sox game on April 11, featuring Jackson Holliday’s MLB debut, was the second most-watched regular season game ever on the network.
For all live games on MLB Network, viewers will be subject to local blackouts, and will be provided with alternate programming.
