Twins, Delaware North Sportservice announce food offerings at Target Field
The Minnesota Twins and Delaware North Sportservice - the team's exclusive food, beverage and retail partner - today announced a variety of new and returning menu offerings to be served during the 2018 Major League Baseball season at Target Field, including many local Twin Cities favorites.
A major new addition to the ballpark is Bat & Barrel, an immersive new dining area open to all ticket holders that features five distinctive food and beverage experiences and showcasing local restaurants, breweries and distilleries.
Bat & Barrel, which replaces the Metropolitan Club area, will have three food-specific opportunities: an entrée section with offerings from Murray's (blue cheese-crusted, bacon-wrapped tenderloin), Red Rabbit (chicken parmesan) and Baja Haus (pan-seared barramundi); an appetizer or small plate area with offerings from CRAVE (burger sliders), Baja Haus (tuna poke), Hell's Kitchen (Impossible Burger), Ike's (Tavern Burger) and Red Cow (Tennessee Hot Chicken or MN Nice!); as well as a quick-serve counter with offerings from Hot Indian Foods (Hot Indian Frittes), Baja Haus (classic ceviche), Kramarczuks (bratwurst), Red Cow (brisket poutine) and a selection of locally cured meats, cheeses and fruit. Other features throughout the 2018 season will include brunch items for day games and 100 percent grass-fed beef specials with Minnesota's Thousand Hills Cattle Company. Multiple bars within Bat & Barrel will feature local and domestic beer options like Anheuser-Busch, Summit, Surly, Fulton and more. Tattersall Distilling has also partnered on developing specialty cocktails for fans to enjoy.
Drafts at 34 (inside Gate 34) features a beer wall offering 22 different beers on tap. Many local favorites from ciders to IPAs. Drafts at 34 will also have a limited run of Surly Cut Down IPA, a collaboration with former Twins player Glen Perkins.
Beyond Bat & Barrel, another new addition to Target Field will be offerings from popular Minneapolis restaurant Holy Land, with a variety of its Mediterranean Middle Eastern dishes adapted for the ballpark.
