Mariners Announce 2023 Spring Training Schedule
The Seattle Mariners today announced their 2023 Cactus League Spring Training schedule. The Mariners will play 32 games in Arizona, including one vs. a World Baseball Classic opponent, beginning Friday, February 24.
Game times and the Mariners television and broadcast schedule will be released at a later date, as will ticket information.
Overall, Seattle will play 19 games at the Peoria Sports complex, including a total of five games (three home, two as visitor) vs. their complex partner, the San Diego Padres. The Mariners will host the Padres on Feb. 24 for the Cactus League lid-lifter and also play San Diego March 2 (as the home team), March 17 (visitor), March 26 (visitor) and March 27 (home). The March 27 game will be the final Cactus League game of the Spring prior to the Mariners Home Opener vs. the Cleveland Guardians on March 30 in T-Mobile Park.
The home schedule at Peoria Sports Complex also features one game vs. every other Cactus League opponent: Los Angeles Angels (Feb. 25), Cleveland Guardians (Feb. 28), Colorado Rockies (March 4), Chicago Cubs (March 6), Cincinnati Reds (March 10), Texas Rangers (March 12), Kansas City Royals (March 14), San Francisco Giants (March 16), Chicago White Sox (March 19), Milwaukee Brewers (March 20), Los Angeles Dodgers (March 22), Oakland Athletics (March 24) and Arizona Diamondbacks (March 25). In addition, Seattle will host a World Baseball Classic opponent to be determined on March 9.
Seattle will play 32 games in 32 days from Feb. 24-March 27, including split-squads (one home game, one road game) on March 19 and March 25. Seattle will have off days (no game scheduled) on March 7 and March 21.
