Eric Davis To Host Coaches Clinic October 20
Reds Hall of Famer Eric Davis will be the featured guest at the first Cincinnati Reds Coaches Education & Training Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy.
In partnership with the American Baseball Coaches Association, USA Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, the Reds Community Fund will host a series of coaching clinics this offseason. The clinics are geared towards all levels of experience for coaches in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.
Davis currently serves as a Special Assistant, Player Performance on the Reds Player Development staff and will discuss hitting and base running with the coaches. Additional guest speakers will include local college coaches addressing topics such as throwing arm health for pitchers and proper catching techniques.
