Colorado Rockies announce 2019 Minor League staff

The Colorado Rockies announced their Minor League staff for the 2019 season today. The announcement includes four new hires as well as four other coaching staff changes.
At Triple-A Albuquerque, Glenallen Hill returns for his seventh season as the team's manager, his 15th season in the Rockies organization. Brandon Emanuel enters his second season with the Isotopes as the pitching coach after previously serving as the pitching coach for High-A Lancaster/Modesto from 2014-17. Also returning this season will be Hitting Coach Tim Doherty, who previously served as the hitting coach for Double-A Hartford in 2017 and Rookie Level Grand Junction in 2016.
The Hartford Yard Goats enter the 2019 season with the addition of new pitching coach Steve Merriman, who joins the club after spending the 2018 season in the Chicago Cubs organization. Manager Warren Schaeffer and Hitting Coach Lee Stevens both return for their second season with Hartford. 
High-A Lancaster enters 2019 with Frank Gonzales in his second season as supervisor of development and his seventh season with the Rockies. Scott Little will be in his first season as manager, after spending the last two seasons as the manager for Short-Season Boise. Dave Burba returns as the High-A pitching coach, his ninth season as a pitching coach in the Rockies organization including three seasons as the Double-A pitching coach from 2015-17. Hitting Coach Tom Sutaris returns for his second season with Lancaster after joining the Rockies organization in 2018.
Low-A Asheville welcomes Randy Ingle as their supervisor of development, after spending the previous 41 years in the Atlanta Braves organization. Robinson Cancel enters his second season as manager of the Tourists, his sixth season as a professional coach/manager. Norberto "Paco" Martin returns for his third consecutive season as hitting coach. Pitching Coach Mark Brewer returns to the staff in 2019, after previously spending three seasons as Asheville's pitching coach from 2014-16. 
Short-Season Boise has Fred Ocasio as the new supervisor of development, his 23rd season with the Rockies organization. Ocasio spent the last four seasons as the manager for High-A Lancaster/Modesto (2015-18). Boise manager will be Steve Soliz. He spent 15 seasons as a Major League coach with the Los Angeles Angels, most recently serving three seasons as their catching and information coach. Cesar Galvez enters his second year as a coach after spending seven years as a player in the Rockies organization.
Rookie Level Grand Junction will enter 2019 with Andy Gonzalez as their supervisor of development for the third consecutive season. Jake Optiz will return for his second season as manager after spending the 2017 season as the coach in Double-A Hartford. The team's pitching coach is Blaine Beatty, who spent the last 13 seasons in the Baltimore Orioles organization. Zach Osborne returns for his second season as hitting coach.
Dominican Summer League One enters 2019 with Manager Mauricio Gonzalez, who returns for his 20th season with the Rockies as the manager of the team. Hitting coach Eugenio Jose returns for his 14th season and coach Florentino Nuñez enters his 12th season with the DSL.
The Rockies' second Dominican Summer League team, which was added in 2018, returns with the same coaching staff. Manager Julio Campos begins his second season with the team, his eighth in the Rockies organization. Pitching coach Helmis Rodrigues and Coach Michael Ramirez both return for their second season on staff.
