Cleveland Guardians Announce 2025 Schedule; <br>Home Opener Tuesday, April 8 Against Chicago-AL
Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians today announced the club’s 2025 season schedule, its 125th year as a charter member of the American League and the 32nd season of calling Progressive Field the home of Cleveland Guardians baseball.
The Guardians open the 2025 season with a 9-game road trip due to Phase 2 renovations at Progressive Field, opening with a 3-game set at Kansas City (March 27-30) before traveling west to take on San Diego in a 3-game series (March 31-April 2) and a 3-game set at Los Angeles-AL (April 4-6). Cleveland’s Home Opener will take place on Tuesday, April 8 against the White Sox. The Guardians first homestand consists of two 3-game sets against Chicago-AL (April 8-10) and Kansas City (April 11-13).
The 2025 season will feature eight summer weekends at Progressive Field:
- May 30-June 1 vs. Los Angeles-AL
- June 6-8 vs. Houston
- June 27-29 vs. St. Louis
- July 4-6 vs. Detroit
- July 18-20 vs. Athletics
- August 1-3 vs. Minnesota
- August 15-17 vs. Atlanta
- August 29-31 vs. Seattle
The Guardians will play host to eight Interleague opponents in 2025, including the Philadelphia Phillies (May 9-11), Milwaukee Brewers (May 12-14), Los Angeles Dodgers (May 26-28), Cincinnati Reds (June 9-11), St. Louis Cardinals (June 27-29), Colorado Rockies (July 28-30), Miami Marlins (August 12-14) and Atlanta Braves (August 15-17).
