Blue Jays announce 2018 promotions and events schedule
The TORONTO BLUE JAYS today released its promotional schedule for the 2018 season, with 42 of 81 home games featuring a giveaway or event, and more weeknight giveaways than ever before. The schedule includes the return of several fan-favourite staples, as well as all-new theme days and collectibles for fans of all ages.
This season, the club will honour the 25th anniversary of its historic 92/93 World Series Championships as part of 25 Year Anniversary -- Back-to-Back World Series day, with an on-field ceremony and a Triple Bobblehead giveaway featuring Roberto Alomar, Paul Molitor, and John Olerud. The Blue Jays will also celebrate Alomar's memorable home run from the '92 ALCS and Joe Carter's '93 World Series clincher with Back-to-Back World Series Sweatshirt Giveaway Day.
New for 2018, the Blue Jays will take fans to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars™ Day presented by Sonnet Home and Auto Insurance, while Rogers Centre will become a staycation destination on Margaritaville at the Ballpark. Additionally, the Blue Jays will host a Pride Night presented by TD to help kick off Pride Month.
Families will continue to enjoy kid-friendly activities in 2018, including new Jr. Jays Sundays and three new Jr. Jays Weekends, all presented by Boston Pizza. The Blue Jays will once again celebrate both Mother's Day and Father's Day at home, while Jr. Jays Back to School Day will help students get to class on time with an all-new Buck Martinez Get Up! Alarm Clock, featuring the Sportsnet broadcaster's iconic home run call as the alarm.
Other returning promotions include Honda Opening Weekend, Thursday Night in the 6ix presented by TD, Country Day, Friday Fan Festivals presented by Bacardi, Canada Day Weekend presented by Honda, and Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by Honda.

In light of the tragic passing of franchise icon Roy Halladay, the Blue Jays will commemorate Roy's life and storied career during the pregame ceremony at Honda Opening Day on Thursday, March 29. Further details, including additional honours in Roy's memory, will be announced in the coming months.
The Blue Jays also announced today that 6 Game Packs will go on sale to the general public beginning Tuesday, Jan. 16, followed by Single Game Tickets on Thursday, Feb. 8.
