Beard hats, puffy vests, J.P. PJs, fireworks, bobbleheads and more on tap for Seattle Mariners 2020 season special events
The Seattle Mariners 2020 schedule features postgame fireworks, bobbleheads and other special events fans look forward to every season, as well a number of unique, quirky promotions Mariners fans have come to expect.
Friday Fun with Beard Hats, Puffy Vests & More
For the first five Friday games next season, the first 10,000 fans through the gates of T-Mobile Park will get some great giveaways.
- After a few years’ hiatus, the Beard Hat is back. The knit beanie with attached knitted beard will be handed out on March 27, when the Texas Rangers come to town;
- A Mariners-themed puffy vest on April 10 vs. Boston Red Sox;
- A Kingdome-themed snapback cap on May 1 vs. Houston Astros;
- J.P. Crawford pajama pants (J.P. PJs) on May 15 vs. Detroit Tigers;
- A Mariners neon yellow cap on May 29 vs. Atlanta Braves.
These five Friday games, March 27-May 29, as well as September 18 (vs. Cleveland Indians), are also College Nights, with specially priced tickets and Happy Hour discounts on food and drinks.
Fireworks
There are nine postgame fireworks shows on the calendar for 2020, courtesy of T-Mobile, every Friday game from May 29 through August 28, and on Friday, September 18, Fan Appreciation Night against the Cleveland Indians.
Bobbleheads and Funko Pop!
Next season, fans will get to add to their collections of Mariners bobbleheads and Funko Pop! figurines. The giveaways include a Mariner Moose Pop! on May 2 (vs. Astros) and bobbleheads of Kyle Seager (April 11 vs. Red Sox) and Marco Gonzales (May 30 vs. Braves). Stay tuned for future announcements of more bobblehead and Pop! giveaways to be added to the calendar.
Just For Kids
The Mariners salute our youngest fans with a special Kids Opening Day on Sunday, March 29 (vs. Rangers) with a Mariners T-shirt giveaway for all kids 14-and-under, a pregame parade on the warning track, special activities and entertainment and “dream jobs” for kids, selected at random, such as honorary manager, public address announcer, grounds crew member or scoreboard operator.
There are four Little League/Youth Baseball Days (May 3 vs. Astros, May 17 vs. Tigers, May 31 vs. Braves, June 21 vs. Kansas City Royals), Salute to Kids Day on August 23 (vs. Chicago White Sox) and Kids Appreciation Day on September 20 (vs. Cleveland). And after every Sunday home game from July 12 through September 13, kids 14-and-younger are invited down on field to run around the bases.
Bark at the Park
There are five opportunities to bring your dog to a game with specially priced Bark at the Park events scheduled for March 31 (vs. Minnesota Twins), April 30 (vs. Astros), July 5 (vs. Philadelphia Phillies), August 25 (vs. Tampa Bay Rays) and September 15 (vs. San Diego Padres).
Salute to the Negro Leagues
The Mariners join Major League Baseball to pay tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Negro Leagues. On Saturday, June 20, the Mariners and Kansas City Royals will Turn Back the Clock at T-Mobile Park to 1946 with a tribute to the Seattle Steelheads and Kansas City Monarchs Negro Leagues teams.
Key Match-ups
In addition to the special events, fans have an early opportunity to get great seats at the best prices for 2020 Opening Day on March 26 vs. the Rangers and match-ups with the Boston Red Sox (April 9-12), World Series Champion Washington Nationals (April 13 & 14), Atlanta Braves (May 29-31), New York Yankees (June 1-3) and Philadelphia Phillies (July 3-5).
Value Games
There are 32 Value Games on the Mariners 2020 schedule with $15 tickets for View Level and Bleacher seats and $30 tickets for Main Level and Terrace Club seats. Log onto Mariners.com/Value for dates of all the games available.
Single-Game Tickets On Sale
Beginning at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 16, single-game tickets for the 2020 season will be available to all fans without a service charge at the T-Mobile Park ticket office and Mariners Team Stores. They will also be available at Mariners.com/Tickets and by phone at 1-888-SEA-HITS (service charges apply).
Select groups will have the opportunity to buy single-game tickets before they go on sale to the general public:
- Thursday, Nov. 14 -- Mariners Season Ticket Members;
- Friday, November 15 -- Mariners Mail subscribers, Mariners social media followers and Ticketmaster subscribers. To be eligible, fans can subscribe to Mariners Mail at Mariners.com/Mail before midnight, November 12.
