A's Announce 2023 Regular Season Schedule
The Oakland A's will open the 2023 season at home on Thursday, March 30, against the Los Angeles Angels. Following a three-game set versus the Halos, the A's will take on the Cleveland Guardians for three games. This will mark the eighth time the A's have faced the Angels on Opening Day and their fifth time hosting them for the opener.
The six-game homestand kicks off the Club's 81-game home slate, which features series against eight National League clubs. The A's will face all 15 National League teams in one season for the first time, playing two two-game series with the San Francisco Giants and a three-game series with each of the remaining 14 teams. The A's will host the Chicago Cubs, Giants, San Diego Padres, New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
The A's 2023 schedule features postgame fireworks shows on May 26, June 30, July 22, and Sept. 15, and postgame drone shows on June 16 and Aug. 19.
The A's will play at home for some of the summer's most popular holidays, including Mother's Day (May 14 vs. Texas), Memorial Day (May 29 vs. Atlanta), Father's Day (June 18 vs. Philadelphia), and Labor Day (Sept. 4 vs. Toronto). The A's and Giants will conclude their Spring Training slates with an exhibition game in Oakland on March 26. The two teams will later square off for their annual Bay Bridge Series, with the A's traveling across the Bay to San Francisco July 25–26 and hosting the Giants Aug. 5–6.
