2023 New York Yankees Regular Season Schedule Released
Earlier today, Major League Baseball released the 2023 regular season schedule. Please find some Yankees schedule notes and highlights below, and a PDF of the Yankees’ 2023 schedule attached.
YANKEES 2023 SCHEDULE NOTES:
- The 2023 season will mark the first to feature a balanced schedule for all 30 Clubs across the Majors since Interleague play was introduced in 1997…will play 52 total division games, 64 total Intraleague games and 46 total Interleague games.
- Will open the season at home on 3/30 vs. San Francisco.
- Will play their longest homestand of the season with 10 games in 11 days from 4/13-23 (four games vs. Minnesota and three games vs. Los Angeles-AL and Toronto).
- Will have their first meetings against Boston with a three-game series from 6/9-11 at Yankee Stadium…their other home matchup vs. Boston will take place from 8/18-20…will travel to Fenway Park for three games from 6/16-18 and four games from 9/11-14.
- Will play four Subway Series games against the Mets (two games from 6/13-14 at Citi Field and two games from 7/25-26 at Yankee Stadium).
- Will play Minnesota at home on Jackie Robinson Day on 4/15.
- Will play at Los Angeles-NL on Lou Gehrig Day on 6/2.
- Will play at Pittsburgh on Roberto Clemente Day on 9/15.
- Will play at home on Mother’s Day (5/14 vs. Tampa Bay) and Independence Day (7/4 vs. Baltimore)…will play on the road for Memorial Day (5/29 at Seattle) and Father’s Day (6/18 at Boston)…are off on Labor Day (9/4).
- Will close out the regular season with a six-game road trip to Toronto (9/26-28) and Kansas City (9/29-10/1).
