Right-hander Yu Darvish is "increasingly likely" to come to a decision prior to the end of the week on which team he signs with, a source told MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi.
According to Morosi, no deal with any of the handful of clubs reportedly in the sweepstakes to land the free-agent hurler is close at this time. A source told Morosi the Twins and Darvish's representatives "are engaged in ongoing discussions," but it is not necessarily Minnesota which has the best chance to land the 31-year-old.

The Brewers reportedly made an offer to Darvish on Monday, and the Cubs, Rangers, Dodgers and Yankees have all shown interest in signing him as well.
Darvish, a four-time All-Star, is 56-42 with a 3.42 ERA in 131 career starts over five seasons in the Major Leagues. He is considered to be one of the top two available starters along with right-hander Jake Arrieta.
