PHILADELPHIA -- Yasmani Grandal continued his torrid July on Tuesday night, slugging home runs from both sides of the plate in the Dodgers' 7-4, 16-inning loss against the Phillies.
Grandal, who also homered on Monday night, has 16 on the season after his 10th career multi-home run game, and his second this season.
The catcher homered off Phillies right-handed starter Aaron Nola leading off the fourth inning to give the Dodgers a 2-0 lead, then greeted left-handed reliever Adam Morgan leading off the sixth inning to provide a 4-1 lead at the time. It was the third time he's homered right-handed and left-handed in the same game with the Dodgers.
Grandal also singled in the first inning and is 20-for-49 (.408) with five homers and 11 RBIs in July.
Grandal will be a free agent after this season.
