Yankees place Kaprielian on Minor League DL

Right-hander James Kaprielian, the Yankees' No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has been placed on the Minor League disabled list with inflammation in his right elbow.
Kaprielian underwent an MRI by Yankees team physician Dr. Chris Ahmad. The righty will rest and then begin a throwing program. No timetable has been set.
Kaprielian, 22, had a 1.50 ERA in three starts for Class A Advanced Tampa this season. He was selected No. 16 overall by the Yankees in the 2015 Draft.
