You have to see bobblehead Yanks will give away on 'Seinfeld Night'
The Yankees are set to pay tribute to one of their most famous (fictional) employees when they host Seinfeld Night at Yankee Stadium on July 5.
In celebration of the iconic 1990s TV series, the first 18,000 fans in attendance will receive a George Costanza bobblehead.
Costanza, of course, worked for the Yankees as the assistant to the traveling secretary for multiple seasons of the show, which was co-created by comedian and noted Mets fan Jerry Seinfeld.
The bobblehead’s design specifically calls back to a memorable scene in which Costanza, played by Jason Alexander, tries to give hitting tips to Derek Jeter and Bernie Williams.
Jeter and Williams are just two of the many Yankees who made cameos on the show, which also featured a fictionalized version of team owner George Steinbrenner -- voiced by series co-creator Larry David.
