LIVE: Watch Judge's pursuit of history free on MLB.TV
With the days ticking down until the end of the regular season and Roger Maris’ American League record for home runs in his sights, every Aaron Judge at-bat has become a must-see event. You can watch the slugger take aim at history for free right now as the Yankees face the Brewers in MLB.TV’s Free Game of the Day presented by NerdWallet.
Judge entered New York’s series against the Brewers -- marking the first time since 2014 the Bronx Bombers have played in Milwaukee -- with 57 homers, keeping him on pace to surpass the 61 homers Maris put up for the Yanks in 1961.

But while the Yanks seem to have the AL East title well in hand at this point, the Brewers are in the midst of a close three-team race with the Phillies and Padres for the final two National League Wild Card spots. They've taken the first two games of this series against New York on the back of a huge weekend from shortstop Willy Adames (3-for-7, two homers, seven RBIs, two walks).
Milwaukee was in first place in the NL Central at the Trade Deadline, but the club struggled in August and fell behind the Cardinals.
The Brewers will be up against Yankees ace Gerrit Cole, the MLB leader in strikeouts with 228. Cole has fanned 10-plus batters in three of his past four starts, including 14 K’s on Sept. 7 against the Twins.
After allowing three homers his last time out against the Red Sox, Cole will need to be careful against a Brewers club that ranks among the NL leaders in dingers.
