DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- The Yankees may be the visiting team for the Field of Dreams Game, but a hardy group of supporters welcomed them to the Hawkeye State with a Yankee Stadium-style "roll call" before the bottom of the first inning.
Each Yankees player acknowledged the cheers from their defensive position, which came from a group of about two dozen fans seated in the left-field grandstands.

Cheers and crowd reaction seemed to be split evenly through the first couple of innings on Thursday, with enthusiastic responses to hits for both the Yankees and White Sox.
"It's a dream to play a game here, have family and friends here and to get a chance to represent the Yankees here," said Aaron Judge. "I had so many friends back home texting me and calling me, saying they were excited to watch. For me to be here, I can't really describe it. I'm blessed to be here."
