Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, as they say, and White Sox fans are starting to get the hang of how All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel gets the job done.
One young fan got out of his seat and into Kimbrel’s one-of-a-kind, pre-pitch lean-and-stare pose during the White Sox 4-3 win over the Red Sox on Friday at Guaranteed Rate Field, and we have to say … it’s a pretty spot-on impersonation.
Kimbrel (and his shadow) pitched a scoreless eighth before co-closer Liam Hendriks shut the door in the ninth for the American League Central leaders.
