On Thursday, March 30, the reigning National League champions will begin their season on the road against the Texas Rangers – and fans are invited to celebrate at the Phillies Opening Day Watch Party being held in the pavilion of the King of Prussia Town Center (155 Village Drive, King of Prussia, PA 19406).
The event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and feature pre-game fun including the opportunity to take photos with the NL Championship Trophy, party with the Phillie Phanatic and 1993 National League champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson (also a 2008 World Champion coach), enter ticket giveaways and more!
Adding to the fun will be a DJ and guest appearances by the Phillies Ballgirls, who will be handing out cheer posters and rally towels. Plus, area businesses offering a variety of food will be open for the event.
Then, the cheering will officially get underway with NBC Sports Philadelphia’s “Phillies Pregame Live” at 2:30 p.m., followed by NBC10’s “Welcome Back Phillies” at 3:00 p.m. and the live broadcast of the big game at 4:05 p.m., which will all be shown on an oversized screen. Note: It is recommended that fans bring their blankets and chairs to watch the game.
