LIVE on Peacock: Soto wraps reunion set in DC
Just under two weeks after being traded to the Padres in a historic blockbuster, Juan Soto and his new team, the Padres, finish their three-game set with his former Nationals. You can see all the action exclusively on Peacock on this week's “MLB Sunday Leadoff."

Soto, a two-time All-Star who won a batting title and starred for the 2019 World Series champions, has flourished in his first action for his new squad, but he obviously still has fond memories of his time in D.C.
“I gave them 100 percent when I was here, and I hope [the fans] enjoyed it,” Soto said after notching a couple of hits in San Diego's victory on Friday to open the series. “At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how big I am, how many people know me. I’m going to be the same guy.”
In the booth, play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti is joined by analysts Mark Grant (Padres) and Kevin Frandsen (Nationals). Grant pitched for the Padres for four of his eight MLB seasons, while Frandsen played nine years in the Majors, including one with the Nats.
NBC Sports’ Ahmed Fareed hosts the MLB Sunday Leadoff pre- and postgame shows each week, and also serves as the in-game reporter. This Sunday, Fareed will be joined by former All-Star Cliff Floyd -- making his fourth appearance this season -- and Rob Friedman, aka PitchingNinja on Twitter (@PitchingNinja), who provides pregame pitching breakdowns.
MLB Sunday Leadoff on Peacock debuted on May 8, beginning an 18-week schedule of exclusive MLB contests every Sunday morning. Peacock was also the exclusive home of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.
The MLB Sunday Leadoff game each week is the only game scheduled until 1:30 p.m. ET, when the rest of the day’s action will begin. The start time for each MLB Sunday Leadoff game is noon ET for the remainder of the games through Sept. 4.
