Alvarez leads the team in home runs (12) and RBIs (46), while Kyle Tucker has 33 RBIs and Alex Bregman has 23. The Astros got a huge boost at the beginning of the series when star second baseman Jose Altuve was activated from the injured list, but Altuve left Tuesday’s game due to sickness.
For the Brewers, the big star on Tuesday was infielder Owen Miller, who broke open the game with a clutch, two-run home run in the eighth inning. An offseason pick-up from the Guardians, Miller is batting .347 (a team-high) to go along with three home runs and 10 RBIs.

The Brewers sent pitcher Adrian Houser (0-0, 3.07 ERA) to the mound, while the Astros countered with starter Brandon Bielak (1-1, 2.89 ERA).
Houser was coming off his best start of the season when he scattered four hits over six scoreless innings in a start against the Rays. He currently entered the start ranked in the 88th percentile in walk rate.
Bielak also took the mound on the heels of a strong start after he allowed only one run in five innings against the Athletics. He also set a new career high in strikeouts with nine.
