What an entrance! Wander arrives in style
Get ready, Rays fans -- Wander Franco is in the building.
The No. 1 prospect in baseball arrived at Tropicana Field for his highly anticipated big league debut, pulling up to The Trop in a white Rolls Royce on Tuesday afternoon before Tampa Bay's series opener against the Red Sox.
Franco started Tuesday's game at third base and batted second, going 2-for-4 with a clutch three-run home run while playing some stellar defense at the hot corner.
The 20-year-old infielder -- nicknamed "El Patrón," or "The Boss" -- was called up after batting .315 with seven home runs, five stolen bases and 35 RBIs in 39 games for Triple-A Durham this season.
