Every kid from the first day of practice to the final out of their careers dreams of making the highlight reel and helping their team win a title.

For Bear River High School center fielder Olivia Taylor, dreams became reality Saturday afternoon as she made a spectacular leaping corkscrew catch over the outfield fence during the Utah state softball championship game.

Taylor’s fence-clearing dive proved to be more than just a notable highlight, as Bear River rallied from the brink of defeat to win two consecutive games and capture the 4A championship.
