O'Neill, J-Ram named Players of the Week
Tyler O'Neill spearheaded a 6-0 stretch for the Cardinals while José Ramírez hit .500 in six games for Cleveland last week. On Monday, they were named the Players of the Week presented by Chevrolet.
O'Neill, St. Louis' 26-year-old left fielder, hit safely in all six games last week, drove in at least one run in five of them and swatted three home runs, two of which came in the eighth inning and put the Cardinals in the lead.
The Cardinals have won eight straight games overall to take hold of the No. 2 National League Wild Card spot.

The 29-year-old third baseman capped off the week by reaching base in eight of his 10 plate appearances, hitting two homers and scoring seven runs as Cleveland outscored New York 22-4 on Saturday and Sunday at Yankee Stadium.
