Dodgers sign lefty Tyler Anderson to 1-year deal
The Dodgers finalized a one-year contract with left-handed pitcher Tyler Anderson on Friday.
A six-year big league veteran, Anderson started 31 games last season combined for the Pirates and Mariners, going 7-11 with a 4.53 ERA. He worked 167 innings, collected 134 strikeouts against 38 walks and posted a 1.246 WHIP.
Over his career, the 32-year-old, who was drafted in the first round (No. 20 overall) by the Rockies in 2011, has gone 29-38 with a 4.62 ERA over 117 games, including 113 starts.
