New Todd Snyder x MLB collection arrives in time for Subway Series

New York is home to fashion. Walk down any street at any time and you'll find looks ranging from the classic to the couture; from the outlandish to the outstanding. So, of course, Yankees and Mets fans tend to look the same.

Now, thanks to the new MLB capsule collection with designer Todd Snyder, there's fan gear with plenty of upscale style, too. For the launch of the new Todd Snyder x MLB Subway Series collection, Snyder wanted to highlight refined and muted versions of the Mets and Yankees logos in gray, black and white on the types of fabrics you don't usually see at the ballpark.

“The Yankees and Mets are two of the most iconic MLB teams whose rivalry is celebrated in the DNA of New York City. I wanted to design fan gear that was sophisticated -- styles that you could wear to the game and around town,” Snyder said. “For this drop, we reimagined the traditional motifs of each team and chose a muted, sophisticated palette of grays, blacks and whites and incorporated luxe materials like Italian satin, summerweight wools and terry cloth.”

The collection features 10 items split between the Yankees and Mets, and highlights include white and black satin jackets:

There are bucket hats -- that most cherished of caps among the young and those who yearn for the '90s again:

Of course, this is baseball, so there needs to be a cap, too:
