May 30: Mariners 4, Rangers 2 -- Texas can't bust skid
The Rangers have lost 12 consecutive road games following the loss to the Mariners. That ties the franchise’s longest road losing streak (12 in 2003) since relocating to Texas in 1972.
May 29: Mariners 3, Rangers 2 -- García's three-hit night
Adolis García notched three singles for his third three-hit game of the season and his second against Seattle (May 9).
May 28: Mariners 3, Rangers 2 -- Kiner-Falefa's streak extended
Isiah Kiner-Falefa's 2-for-4 night extended his hit streak to seven games. Over that span, he is batting .379 (11-for-29) in matchups against the Mariners, Angels and Astros.

May 27: Mariners 5, Rangers 0 -- Calhoun hits third triple
Willie Calhoun's sixth inning triple was his third career triple and his first since Aug. 10, 2020, which was also against Seattle. His other three-bagger was against Detroit.

May 26: Angels 9, Rangers 8 -- García's hot streak
With his 11th home run of the month of May, Adolis García broke the Rangers' rookie record for most home runs in a single calendar month, passing Dave Hostetler, who had 10 in June 1982. García is now tied with Toronto's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for the Major League lead in homers at 16, which is the most ever by a Texas rookie before the All-Star break (tied with Pete Incaviglia, 16 in 1986).

May 25: Angels 11, Rangers 5 -- Records in sight for Adolis
Adolis García connected for his 10th home run in May in the sixth inning. The homer put him in a tie for the most by a Rangers rookie in a calendar month, matching Dave Hostetler (June 1982) for the franchise record. The home run was also García's 15th of the season, the second-most by a Texas rookie before the All-Star break, behind only Pete Incaviglia (16 HRs in 1986).

May 22: Rangers 3, Astros 2 (10) -- Folty posts zeros
Mike Foltynewicz's scoreless outing of seven innings in Sunday's victory over the Astros was his first scoreless outing since Sept. 20, 2019 while pitching for the Braves.

May 22: Rangers 8, Astros 4 -- Home-field advantage?
The Rangers secured a series victory over their Lone Star State rivals with a victory over the Astros at Globe Life Field on Saturday. Texas has now won five out of six games the two teams have played at Globe Life Field since the park opened in 2020.

May 21: Rangers 7, Astros 5 -- El Bombi makes history
Adolis García's 10th inning home run was the Rangers' first walk-off home run vs. the Astros since the two teams became division foes. The only other Rangers walk-off homer against the Astros was by Mitch Moreland on June 21, 2011. García's walk-off homer was also the first for the Rangers at Globe Life Field, which opened in 2020. He is also the first Rangers rookie with a walk-off home run since Jurickson Profar on Sept. 26, 2013, vs the Angels.

May 20: Yankees 2, Rangers 0 -- Dunning delivers, bats don't
Dane Dunning posted six shutout innings, matching the longest scoreless outing of his career, which he has done three times. But he was unable to pick up the win in a scoreless start of six or more innings for the second time this season. Entering the day, just two pitchers had multiple such starts: White Sox lefty Dallas Keuchel and Orioles southpaw John Means (two each).

May 19: Yankees 2, Rangers 0 -- Rangers get no-hit again
With no answer for Corey Kluber, the Rangers became the seventh team in history to be no-hit twice at home in the same season. The Mariners and Indians have also been no-hit twice in 2021, but only the Mariners endured both no-hitters at home. The Rangers were also no-hit by the Padres' Joe Musgrove on April 12.
May 18: Yankees 7, Rangers 4 -- Red-hot García at 30 RBIs
In the Rangers' loss Tuesday night, Adolis García hit a two-run single to extend his team-leading RBI total to 30 (in 34 games). That tied Rougned Odor's club-best RBI total from last season (38 games). García has a hit in 14 of his last 15 games and reached base safely in 15 straight starts. In the last five homes games, he is 10-for-20 with three homers and 10 RBIs.

May 17: Rangers 5, Yanks 2 -- García homers ... and steals home!
Rangers outfielder Adolis García stole home on the back end of a double steal in the sixth inning against the Yankees on Monday night. It was the 37th steal of home in Rangers history and the first since Leody Taveras did it on Sept. 9, 2020, against the Angels. García is also the fourth Rangers player to hit a home run and steal home in the same game.

May 16: Astros 6, Rangers 2 -- Dahl does his part
Left fielder David Dahl was a bright spot for the Rangers during their 0-6 skid. On Sunday, he went 2-for-4 with a game-tying two-run homer in the seventh inning off Andre Scrubb and a single in the ninth. He has recorded a hit in nine of his last 11 games, batting .289 with three doubles, two homers and five RBIs.

May 15: Astros 6, Rangers 5 -- Rare homer allowed
Rangers starter Dane Dunning gave up a two-run homer to Carlos Correa in the Rangers' loss on Saturday, ending his streak of six straight starts without allowing a home run. That matches the longest such streak by a Ranger this season (Kyle Gibson through his first six starts).

May 14: Astros 10, Rangers 4 -- Lowe's long streak snapped
Nate Lowe's 25-game on-base streak came to an end on Friday with an 0-for-4 night in Houston. It was good for the longest streak in the Majors this season. Teammate Joey Gallo had a 23-game on-base streak to start the season, which now sits as the third-longest in 2021.
May 13: Astros 4, Rangers 3 -- Start it off, Willie!
Willie Calhoun hit a home run on the first pitch of the game against Astros pitcher Cristian Javier. It was the first career leadoff homer for Calhoun and first by a Ranger since Leody Taveras on Sept. 9, 2020, at the Angels. It was also the first by a Ranger on the first pitch of a game since Shin-Soo Choo on Aug. 5, 2020, at the A's.

May 11: Giants 4, Rangers 2 -- Keep on trusting your gut
The Rangers successfully challenged three calls in the finale vs. the Giants. The only other time Texas had three successful challenges in a game was on May 5, 2017, against the Mariners.
May 10: Giants 3, Rangers 1 -- Interleague struggles
With the loss to the Giants, the Rangers are now 0-4 in Interleague Play this season, following an April series sweep by the Padres. Texas has lost seven straight Interleague contests dating back to last season, good for the longest such streak in club history. The Rangers are now 24-40 against National League clubs since the start of 2018.
May 9: Rangers 10, Mariners 2 -- Dunning deals
Dane Dunning’s career-high 10 strikeouts against the Mariners were the most by any Rangers pitcher this season. It was also just the second 10-strikeout game by a Texas rookie in the last nine seasons (Adrian Sampson fanned 11 on June 2, 2019, vs. the Royals).

May 8: Rangers 9, Mariners 8 -- Double the Gallo
Gallo's two-homer night against the Mariners was the ninth multi-homer game of his career, and his first since June 27, 2019, against the Tigers.

May 7: Mariners 5, Rangers 4 -- Lowe plays long, long ball
Nate Lowe's home run in the third inning to deep center field was the longest by a Rangers hitter in the short existence of Globe Life Field at a projected 451 feet, according to Statcast.

May 6: Rangers 4, Twins 3 (10) -- Gallo moves up Texas' HR list
Joey Gallo hit his fourth homer of 2021 in the series finale. It was his 124th career homer, tying Pete Incaviglia for 16th in Rangers history.
May 5: Rangers 3, Twins 1 -- Yang whiffs way into record books
Hyeon-Jong Yang is just the second pitcher in Rangers history to have as many as eight strikeouts in a stint of 3 1/3 innings or fewer. Danny Darwin fanned eight in 3 1/3 relief innings on Aug. 16, 1980, in Detroit. Yang is also the fifth Rangers pitcher with an eight-plus strikeout outing through his first three MLB games. Bobby Witt fanned 10 in his second big league game on April 17, 1986, in Milwaukee.

May 4: Rangers 6, Twins 3 -- Adolis, away!
Outfielder Adolis García went 3-for-5 against the Twins on Tuesday and is now hitting .348 with seven home runs and 18 RBIs in 11 road games, compared with just .139 in 10 home games.

May 3: Twins 6, Rangers 5 -- Lowe gets on base again
First baseman Nate Lowe extended his career-best on-base streak to 16 games with a single in the third inning. He’s batting .322 during the streak, which dates back to April 17.

May 2: Rangers 5, Red Sox 3 -- Four-game series win streak
With the comeback against Boston, the Rangers have won consecutive four-game series for the first time since 2016. Texas previously had taken three of four against Tampa Bay from April 12-15. Going back to last season, the Rangers are 3-0 in four-game sets, marking the first time since 2014 where Texas has won three straight four-game series.
May 1: Rangers 8, Red Sox 6 -- Calhoun, Lowe extend streaks
Willie Calhoun, who went 3-for-4 with a go-ahead two-run homer, extended his hitting streak to eight games, marking the longest of his career. It also matches Nate Lowe for the longest hit streak for any Ranger this season and both of them are active, as Lowe delivered a two-run single in the third inning.
