Join the Rangers for an Opening Day hype event
In anticipation of Opening Day, the Texas Rangers and Major League Baseball are hosting a “Road to Opening Day” event at Klyde Warren Park on Tuesday.
The event, which is part of a league-wide campaign to celebrate Opening Day and all of the various ways fans can enjoy baseball, will award fans with free collectibles, ballpark-themed snacks, a chance to rub elbows with baseball greats and team mascots, and other surprises.
The Rangers’ “Road to Opening Day” event is scheduled to take place from noon to 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday. It will be held at the park located at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway. If inclement weather is in the forecast, a decision to either move forward or postpone the event will come two hours before the scheduled start time.
The Rangers will begin their 2022 regular season on Friday at the Toronto Blue Jays. First pitch is scheduled for 6:07 p.m. The team’s home opener from Globe Life Field will come on April 11 at 3:05 p.m. versus the Colorado Rockies.
