Three-time NCAA Softball World Series champion Grace Lyons hosts softball clinic at Texas Rangers Youth Academy
Grace Lyons, a three-time NCAA Softball World Series Champion, recently hosted an in-depth clinic with the Texas Rangers Youth Academy this past week. The clinic, which included hitting talk, mental approach and hitting groups, provided young athletes with valuable insights and techniques to improve their skills. With 30 softball players in attendance, the event was a fantastic opportunity for aspiring softball players to learn from one of the best in the sport. This clinic is a testament to the Academy’s commitment to developing the next generation of softball talent.

Braylon Hubbard scores invite to WWBA Freshman World Championship
What it is: The annual WWBA Freshman World Championships hosts the country's top-class of 2028 teams, who will battle it out to be crowned World Champions for the 2024 season. The championships are held at The Ballparks of Palm Beaches and various ballparks in Palm Beach County from Oct. 10-14.
Why it matters: Back in July, Braylon Hubbard was invited to the Hank Aaron Invitational for the class of 2027 and 2028. Hank Aaron is a week-long on-field developmental event hosted by MLB in Vero Beach, Fla., with former big-league coaches and players. Based on his success and performance at the Hank Aaron Invitational, he was selected for the Breakthrough Series Team to participate in the WWBA Freshman World Championship.
Go Deeper: Braylon is a long-time Texas Rangers Youth Academy athlete and attends Duncanville High School (Class of 2028). He has been a member of numerous special event teams, including the 2023 Junior Nike RBI Regional Team, the 2024 Commissioner’s Cup Championship Team, 2x Negro Leagues Invitational Team and he was the 2022 12U National Jr. Homerun Derby Champion.
