The Braves officially signed Baylor catcher Shea Langeliers on Wednesday. The deal is reportedly for $4 million, which is below the full-slot value of $4.95 million for the No. 9 overall pick in the MLB Draft.
Langeliers is considered by many to be better defensively than Oregon State catcher Adley Rutschman, who was taken by the Orioles with the first overall pick.
