Renfroe hits 22nd homer in Triple-A El Paso win

Right fielder Hunter Renfroe hit his 22nd homer and right-handed starter Michael Kelly allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings Sunday as Triple-A El Paso scored a 5-2 victory over Nashville.
Renfroe (.337) was 2-for-4 with his homer and three RBIs. Second baseman Diego Goris (.312) was 1-for-4 with two RBIs.
Kelly, who is now 5-0 with a 3.23 ERA with the Chihuahuas, allowed five hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Kelly was transferred back from Double-A San Antonio to El Paso earlier in the day when right-handed pitcher Edwin Jackson was promoted from El Paso to the Padres.
Left-hander Keith Hessler (3.55 ERA) followed Kelly and allowed an unearned run on a hit and two walks with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings.
Right-hander Derek Eitel (2.91) issued a walk in two-thirds of an inning. Left-hander Daniel Moskos (3.92) allowed three hits with two strikeouts in two-thirds of an inning. Right-hander Michael Dimock (3.55) struck out one in two-thirds of an inning to get his second save.
In other moves Sunday, right-handed reliever Adam Cimber was sent from El Paso to San Antonio, and left-handed reliever Brandon Alger was released from high Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore.

CF Franchy Cordero (.311) had a homer and a walk in four at-bats. 3B River Stevens (.250) was 2-for-4. Starting RHP Tim Berry (0-1,17.18 ERA) allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks in 3 2/3 innings. LHP Brad Wieck (0.00) allowed a hit and a walk with four strikeouts in 2 1/3 scoreless innings. RHP Tayron Guerrero (5.66) allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in two innings.

RHP Colby Blueberg (2.59) allowed four runs -- three earned -- on four hits with a strikeout in an inning. LF Edwin Moreno (.247) was 2-for-4 with a triple, his ninth homer, four RBIs and two runs scored. 1B Ty France (.319) had a two-run homer in three at-bats. CF Michael Gettys (.313) had a homer in five at-bats. 2B Daniel Bravo (.266) was 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
