Healy exits game in 5th with groin tightness
CLEVELAND – Mariners third baseman Ryon Healy exited Friday night’s 2-1 loss to the Indians at Progressive Field with groin tightness.
Healy was replaced in the bottom of the fifth inning by Dylan Moore after flying out to right field in the top of the inning. Healy was 0-for-2 on the night.
“You hate to lose guys,” manager Scott Servais said. “He felt it coming down the baseline his last at-bat there. We’ll have to check how he is to see if he’s available [Saturday].”
Healy has started all but one game for the Mariners this season. He entered Friday with a league-high 13 doubles.
