The Royals have reportedly reached agreements with four players on Minor League deals, including reliever Bobby Parnell, starter Jonathan Sánchez, infielder Brooks Conrad and outfielder Ruben Sosa, according to Baseball America. The club has not confirmed the deals.
Parnell, 32, made six relief appearances last season for the Tigers before being released in August. The nine-year veteran was a staple in the Mets' bullpen from 2008-15, posting a 3.78 ERA over 329 appearances. The right-hander had Tommy John surgery in '14.

The left-hander made the Opening Day roster that year and went 1-6 with a 7.76 ERA in 12 starts before he was traded to the Rockies for Jeremy Guthrie. Sanchez, who tossed a no-hitter with the Giants in '09, has not pitched in the Majors since '13 with the Pirates.
Conrad, 36, played independent ball this year in Texas with the Sugar Land Skeeters. He was in the Mets organization in 2015 and hit .194/.280/.319 with Triple-A Las Vegas. Conrad, who can play at second and third base, last appeared in the Majors in '14 with the Padres, going 3-for-30 over 13 games.
Sosa, 26, played well in the Mexican League this year, hitting .371/.458/.517 with 22 steals for Laguna. He's previously spent time in the Minors with the Astros and Angels organizations.
