Rays unveil 2021 promotional schedule
The Rays’ promotional schedule for this season includes a replica of the American League Championship trophy, five player bobbleheads and seven Sunday giveaways for fans 14 and younger.
Tampa Bay announced its promotional schedule for the upcoming season on Tuesday. The giveaways will begin during the Rays’ opening series against the Yankees at Tropicana Field from April 9-11, when all fans (while supplies last) will receive a Rays schedule magnet.
The eight scheduled promotional items are as follows:
• Tuesday, April 13 vs. Rangers: AL championship trophy replica
• Saturday, May 29 vs. Phillies: a Rays car flag
• Wednesday, June 9 vs. Nationals: a Willy Adames audio bobblehead, featuring the Rays Radio call of the Kevin Kiermaier-to-Adames-to-Travis d’Arnaud relay in Game 4 of the 2019 AL Division Series
• Saturday, June 26 vs. Angels: Brandon Lowe bobblehead
• Tuesday, July 6 vs. Indians: Austin Meadows bobblehead
• Saturday, July 31 vs. Red Sox: Randy Arozarena bobblehead
• Saturday, Aug. 21 vs. White Sox: Tyler Glasnow bobblehead
• Saturday, Sept. 4 vs. Twins: Rays tote bag
The select Sunday items for young fans include a Kiermaier snapback hat, “ugly sweater socks” and Rays baseball cards.
Additionally, the Rays announced that players and coaches will wear white alternate Devil Rays jerseys and navy blue retro caps on “Devil Rays Days” taking place on five Saturdays: May 29, June 26, July 31, Aug. 21 and Sept. 25.
The Rays have not yet announced single-game ticket information for the 2021 season, but season memberships that offer priority access to tickets are on sale now, with more information available at RaysBaseball.com/SeasonMembership.
