Polanco day to day due to left hamstring

DENVER -- In the fourth inning of the Pirates' 13-5 win at Coors Field over the Rockies on Friday, outfielder Gregory Polanco exited with left hamstring discomfort.
The Pirates announced that Polanco is day-to-day with the injury. Polanco missed time in May with a hamstring strain to the same leg, sitting 10 games from May 14 to May 26.
With no one out and the bases loaded in the fourth inning, Polanco hit a ground ball to Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu, who attempted to turn a double play. Though Polanco beat out the throw, he appeared to grab the back of his left leg after he reached first base. Andrew McCutchen scored on the play to give Polanco an RBI.
Polanco missed time in May with a hamstring strain to the same leg. John Jaso replaced Polanco, who finished the game 1-for-3, in the lineup, hitting sixth and playing right field. Jaso finished 0-for-2 with a walk.
